It works as a wet mop and dry sweeper.

When we used the spot cleaning mode to mop up soda and syrup, our testers were impressed by how well it cleaned up the messes without spreading them around. It only took five minutes and a few passes to completely get rid of the stickiness. It didn’t perform quite as well in our flour test, but dry spills like that are best left for vacuums, anyways. There’s also a regular cleaning mode that will mop your entire home, not just a specific area where there’s a spill. We also liked that the robot mop’s square shape allowed it to clean hard-to-reach areas (like corners) without aggressively slamming into baseboards and furniture.

It’s loaded with smart features.

Setting up the Braava Jet m6 was simple, especially with the help of the intuitive iRobot app. It’s easy to download it on your smartphone and connect the mop to Wi-Fi, which gives you the ability to schedule regular cleanings, customize maps, and control the appliance while on the go. Once set up and running, the robot mop will start mapping out your home and cleaning in neat rows. It takes a few uses before the map is complete, but it’ll eventually know which room it’s in and whether or not to clean it. And if there are certain areas of your home that you don’t want the robot mop to clean, you can set virtual boundaries so it avoids entering those areas. It can even detect carpets and rugs (along with stairs), so you don’t have to remove them from the floors before each cleaning session. Plus, when the battery is running low (it lasted three hours for us), the Braava Jet m6 automatically goes back to its base to recharge. Once the battery is charged again, the robot mop picks up cleaning right where it left off.

This is a can’t-miss sale.

Even though we’d still recommend the Braava Jet m6 at full price, it’s always better to get it on sale—especially when you can save $101. The discount brings the smart robot mop down to $349, which is the lowest price it’s been since earlier this summer.
